Dr. Kelley Gurley - Takeda
Dr. Kelley Gurley, is an acclaimed leader in the Health Care IT industry, with over 25 years of experience in Information Technology roles and also has a Ph.D. in Information Systems. Throughout her career and her current position at Takeda Pharmaceuticals- Head of Plasma Derived Therapies, Strategy and Transformation, Dr. Gurley has been responsible for strategic leadership on Data Digital and Technology transformations. In her career, she has been involved in many spectrums of software development, AI implementations cloud migrations, Electronic Health Record integrations and implementations. Other areas of experience include Acute and Post-Acute Care, Hospice, Dialysis, Laboratory Science, and Life Sciences.
As a female leader in a male-dominated industry for decades, Dr. Gurley strives to inspire women in the workplace thrive, and though she has led large, high-performing teams, always takes the time to get to know the teams on an individual level. She has been a resource for start-up companies, Ph.D. Candidates researching Health IT, and everyday professionals who are seeking growth and advancement in their job. In her latest book, Human Leaders, Dr. Gurley provides strategies to create a successful leadership journey through methods that foster psychological safety and trust within teams.
To remain active and purposefully driving and elevating other female leaders, Dr. Gurley is associated with the International Association of Professional Executive Coaches, The International Association of Women, and a Proud Lifetime Member of the International Society of Female Professionals. Dr. Gurley is also an active member on the board for The Pathway Initiative, a non-profit leading the path for underserved youths to have access to STEM Programs and Careers.
Dipali Ranjan - Tripadvisor
Dipali works as a Machine Learning Scientist at TripAdvisor. She works on building ranking, recommendation and performance marketing algorithms. Prior to this, she received her Masters in Computer Science from University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign. In her free time, she likes to explore the city in search of delicious food!
Kim Greeley - Liberty Mutual Insurance
Kim Greeley is an Asst Director of Data Science at Liberty Mutual in their Product Organization. She is responsible for predicting auto claims, preparing data for modeling, and a variety of ad hoc research and improvement projects. She has been at Liberty Mutual for just shy of seven years, and has previously held two strategy roles in the organization. Kim was previously a Senior Manager in Corporate Strategy & Research, Liberty Mutual's internal management consulting group. CS&R serves as trusted, strategic advisers to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team, and drives transformational change by taking an enterprise-wide, customer-centric perspective. She also held a similar role as a Consultant to the Global Retail Markets business unit. Prior to Liberty Mutual, Kim has spent time as a Technology Consultant at Deloitte Consulting as well as a Supply Chain Consultant at Cardinal Health. In her current Data Science role she is excited to be tapping into prior experience of programming, process improvement, and high level business strategy. Kim is passionate about connecting the power of data and math with a strategic vision that brings an organization forward.
Kim also participates in [email protected], the Women’s Employee Resource Group. She’s been an active member of WE’s mentor circles, as well as a mentor in the FlexPath program. Kim is originally from Chicago, and has continued to root for Chicago sports teams from afar. She loves trying new restaurants, and enjoys fancy multiple course meals as well as a good Chicago hot dog. She enjoys running in her free time, and as a mom of two chasing kids around the house and traveling with her family.
