Unlocking the Potential of AI in Healthcare
The healthcare AI opportunity resides in the realm of predictive and prescriptive analytics. Applying AI machine learning models to large data sets enables healthcare organizations to detect patterns and make predictions and recommendations on outcomes using data and experiences rather than explicit programming instructions. But with every opportunity to apply AI in healthcare, there is a risk that organizations won’t have what it takes to successfully develop, implement or operationalize AI. Having the technology and infrastructure for AI is not enough. Having the right people—with the technical capability and healthcare expertise—is enormously important. The speaker discusses strategies and plans to attract and retain the talent needed to unlock the potential of AI.
