Will Douglas Heaven is a writer and editor. For the last 4 years he has worked at New Scientist, first as a reporter, then features editor and most recently chief technology editor. From October he will be a technology writer and editor with BBC Worldwide. Will has a PhD in computing from Imperial College London. Before moving into journalism, he was a computing researcher for several years at Imperial and UCL. He also has degrees in Philosophy, English Literature and Science Communication.
